Mondays meeting
T286
Hope everyone survived the Blizzard! Monday’s Meeting 1/13 is an Out Meeting. Scouts, parents and siblings in the 4th grade or over are invited.
It’s at Kenmore Presbyterian Church. Troops 539, 286, 229, and 510 will be participating. It will begin promptly at 7:00pm so arrive at 6:45PM. The main presentation will last 75 minutes and involves freezing bananas, rubber balls, rubber nails, and burning things in high concentrations of oxygen with the last experiment ending in a big bang. It’s designed to get kids excited about science and technology. At the conclusion, there will be an optional liquid nitrogen ice cream making (and tasting) demonstration. The full program will be over by 9pm.
The address is 2771 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore, one block north of Kenmore Avenue. We meet in Fellowship Hall, which is down the stairs from the parking lot entrance.
Special thanks to Rob Reeves, Scoutmaster of Troop 539 for organizing.
Yours in Scouting
Mark
