Gathering Activity:  7:00 pm – 7:15 pm:

·      Cleaning and putting away gear from this weekend’s campout.

·      Emmett Leader Citizenship presentation

·      PLC to gather Egg Drop Supplies

Opening:  7:15 pm – 7:25 pm:

Patrol Corners: 7:30 pm – 7:45 pm:  Egg Drop completed in Patrols

Skill Instruction:  7:45 pm – 8:15 pm:  Egg Drop

Holiday Valley Tubing

Pack and Troop 286 are planning for another adventure.  We are going tubing at Holiday Valley Tubing Park on Sunday, February 27th from 6:30 to 8:30.  The tubing hill will be closed to the public and available for our group only – just like last year.  

If we can get 50 or more people to sign up, it will be $20 per person. If we have fewer than 50 it may be a little bit more but our goal is at least 50.  

Attached is the link to sign up, please fill it out so we can plan accordingly.

No Meeting Tomorrow 1/3/22 and Zoom Meeting Next Week 1/10/22

As a result of the current COVID status today, the following will be our plan going forward:1.  We are canceling tomorrow’s meeting 1/3/22.2.  On 1/10/22 we will meet on zoom.3.  No meeting on 1/17/22 MLK holiday.4.  We will reassess the situation for 1/24/22.

WEAR YOUR MASK
1.  No uniforms wear something in the holiday spirit or your favorite class B scout shirt

2.  Scouts bring your favorite board game to play with your fellow scouts at tables 

3.  Ryland Schloerb’s Eagle Scout board of review is also scheduled for this night

·        When:  Arrive @ 12:45 pm to be ready to bowl @1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

·        Cost:  $12:00 for 2 hours of bowling, slice pizza and soda

No Meeting Monday 12/6/21 & Fitness Retest Rescheduled

Troop 286,
As a result of the home Monday Night Football Buffalo Bills game we are canceling our Scout Meeting for this Monday.  I am awaiting final approval from Blessed Sacrament Church for use of the gym next Saturday 12/11/21 @ 6:30pm for our fitness retest for Tenderfoot.

Troop Meeting 11/22

Troop 286,

Important Updates:

1.  Troop 286 dues of $180 can be paid now.  Please give dues to Maureen Dahlke during the meeting.

2.  Let us know if your Scout wants Scout Life Magazine at a cost of $12.00 for 2022.

3.  If your Scout is turning 18 in 2022, dues are prorated; ask Maureen Dahlke what that amount is.

4.  A reminder that popcorn money is due.

4.  Thank you everyone for the donations for Thanksgiving Dinners for Blessed Sacrament families, and a special thanks to Lisa Abramo for organizing and getting the dinners.  The Pack and Troop are providing dinner for 4 families.

Patrol Corners: 7:30 pm – 7:45 pm:  Completing Patrol flags and having a patrol yell

Skill Instruction:  7:45 pm – 8:15 pm:  Totin Chip

Holiday Bowling on Dec 12th at 1pm

Troop 286,

We will be holding a 286 Scout Group Holiday Bowling Activity for the Troop and Pack,  Details as follows:

• 12/12/21 @ 1:00 pm
• $12 includes: shoes, 2 hours of unlimited bowling, slice of pizza and pop
• We have the lanes reserve for just us
• Bills play at 4:20 pm against Tampa Bay later this day, we will be done at 3:00 pm
• This is a great holiday event for the Troop and Pack
• Lisa Abramo has a family connection at the Bowling Alley
• Bowling Alley name and address to follow (not sure of this currently)
• This will be in place of the Escape Room Activity
• Sign up sheet will be out at meeting
