2-The Out Meeting scheduled for Jan 18th at Tonawanda Bowling Lanes has been moved to Jan 25th due to lane availability. Time is 6:30 to 8:30pm. Cost is $12.95 and includes 2 hours of bowling, shoes, pizza and pop. Families are welcome. Sign up on front table.

Reminders:

4-The Webelos need to speak to a First Responder to complete their badge.  If anyone is an EMT, works with paramedics or ambulances or is in an ER, please let me know.

5-The troop is in need of a new electric 12 cup coffee pot.  If you have an old one, please bring it to the meeting and make a tax deductible donation.  The current coffee pot met its unfortunate demise and was buried at the Scouthaven dumpster this past weekend.  Remember, scout leaders run on coffee and your son’s safety may depend on adequate coffee intake.

The No Sledding Campout is this weekend at Camp Scouthaven at the Safari Lodge.  Safari Lodge is the first cabin on the right past the parking lot/camp office.  You will be allowed to drive to the cabin to drop your gear before returning to the parking lot.

Reminders

1. Arrive 6pm or after.  Some leaders like Don Schloerb should be there by 5pm or before.  If you want to get there before 6pm, and your not a leader, let me know what time you want to arrive so I can make sure a leader will be there.
2. No Uniforms
3. Eat dinner before you come or bring it with you
4. Bring sleds and helmets
5. Dress for the weather (there may be some rain)
6. Bring games for cabin free time
7. Scouts not yet first class should bring their scout handbooks
8. If anyone still wants to go, just let me know.

Patrol campout is next weekend Nov 13th to 15th at 9 Mile Island (not the Red Jacket Club). Dan Dahlke will be acting scoutmaster as I will be out of town. Theme will be “Sports”. We will be tent camping so dress and pack appropriately.

Patrols will be pulling gear Monday night and should be prepared to take it home with them. Patrols will be planning their menu’s Monday and must buy and cook their own food.

There will be a New Scout Parent Orientation on November 2^nd from 7:30 to 8:30 pm during the troop meeting.  Do you know what SPL stands for?  How about PLC?  If you are a parent of a new scout and have questions, please join the troop committee to get your questioned answered

The Troop Rechartering process is underway.  We need to know who wants Boys Life magazine in 2016.  Cost is $12.  Please let me know if you would like it.
